A recent study showed SimRT was 3x more accurate than a physical surrogate method for predicting tumor movement with 4DCT. SimRT showed more precise, stable breathing tracking leading to a more realistic 4DCT reconstruction and breathing-adapted treatment planning2.

The use of a ceiling-mounted camera to monitor and record the patient eliminates the need for physical markers, blocks or belts – this results in less physical distraction for the patient, no errors due to skin deformation and nothing to set-up or clean.

Our Real Time Coach display provides simple and intuitive visual feedback for patients, and our PatientSide in-room interface allows staff to stay closer to the patient for longer – this results in an easier breath-hold coaching experience and greater patient compliance

 

 

SimRT’s Virtual Tracking Point selection enables rapid optimization of the tracking point set-up from the Control Room, meaning minimal patient distraction pre-scan and a more efficient workflow. The Virtual Tracking Point also allows for fast, easy identification of belly-breathers, as it can be placed anywhere on the body, regardless of patient physiology.
