Vision RT certified with Elekta’s Integrated Gating Interface: AlignRT 7.4 gains CE mark

Vision RT is excited to announce the completion of AlignRT 7.4. 

This new release includes integration with Elekta’s Gating Interface. 

Some key features of AlignRT 7.4:

• Integration with the newest versions of Elekta linacs (conforming to the IEC 60601-2-1 Fourth Edition standard.)
• Integrated gating. In certain markets, Elekta’s linacs now support Integrated Gating, which facilitates automatic beam-hold when the patient is not in the optimal treatment position. This interface is especially important as the latest version of AlignRT will now include the option for an updated respiratory module.
•  Existing workflows for patient synchronization and couch movement are also supported, for customers using the MOSAIQ PPS interface.
• Respiratory Module: In parallel with respiratory gating (phase or amplitude) this new module also detects patient motion in 6dof and holds the beam if the patient moves outside defined tolerances. This combination of  gating and motion management is a safety advance on previous solutions which only held the beam based on patients’ respiratory motion.
• Active directory, allowing team members to use their organizational login details, as well as enhanced action traceability.
