Vision RT and Accuray Announce First Clinical Use of AlignRT InBore on the Accuray Helical Platform

Vision RT and Accuray today announced the first clinical use of AlignRT InBore on the Accuray Helical Platform. Clinique Générale-Beaulieu, part of the Swiss Medical Network in Switzerland, is the first center globally to treat patients with this integrated solution.

Treating approximately 900 patients annually across its three sites, the Network plans to deploy AlignRT InBore for breast, prostate, GI and secondary cancer patients, further advancing its capabilities in bore based helical radiotherapy.

AlignRT InBore combines the benefits of Vision RT’s ceiling-mounted AlignRT camera system for patient setup with a dedicated multi-camera system mounted on a ring inside the treatment bore to ensure optimal visibility and tracking of the patient. The integrated approach helps maintain continuous visibility of the patient tracking region throughout setup, imaging, and treatment delivery.

Designed specifically for the Accuray Helical Platform, the new AlignRT InBore system features a 3 mm-thick ring, positioned inside the bore, enabling seamless integration within the treatment environment while supporting uninterrupted surface tracking.
